About Us
Rosehill Energy is a division of Rosehill Group — a UK manufacturer of advanced polyurethane systems, supplying the global energy sector with the raw polymer materials behind subsea coatings since 1988.
Our Story
Rosehill Energy was founded in 1988 in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire, with a singular focus: advancing polymer chemistry for demanding industrial applications. What began as a research and development operation quickly evolved into a specialist manufacturer of polyurethane elastomer systems.
Over 35 years, we developed the Flexilon range — a family of polyurethane coatings engineered specifically for subsea energy infrastructure. Each formulation addresses the extreme conditions of deep-water pipelines, field joints and cable protection systems.
Today, Rosehill Energy supplies the Flexilon material range to oil, gas and renewable energy projects and their applicators worldwide, from the North Sea to West Africa, South-East Asia to the Gulf of Mexico.
Manufacturing
Our West Yorkshire manufacturing site houses batch reactors ranging from 4 to 60 tonnes, giving us the flexibility to produce small development batches and large-scale production runs from the same facility. Every batch is quality-controlled to ISO 9001 standards, with full traceability from raw material intake to dispatch.
Innovation & R&D
Every project has unique operating conditions. Our polymer chemists develop bespoke formulations tailored to your specific temperature, pressure and chemical environment. From initial consultation to validated production batches.
A family of companies manufacturing polymer products across rail, drainage, highways, security, surfacing and energy.
